Adv Sharon Lubezky Hess is a partner at Amit, Pollak, Matalon & Co.
Sharon is a seasoned litigator, focusing her practice on commercial litigation in general, and on class and derivative action in particular.
Ms. Lubezky represents respondents in complex and major class actions. In the past year she has acted on behalf of all of the banks in Israel, including the country’s largest banking groups – Bank Hapoalim, Bank Leumi, Bank Mizrahi-Tefahot, Israel Discount Bank, First International Bank of Israel and Union Bank of Israel. These Class Actions cases were amongst the largest filed in the banking sector in the past years.
Ms. Lubezky also represented various public companies, senior officers and stakeholders, in class and derivative action claims..Ms. Lubezky also represents respondents in consumer class actions, including the Paz Oil Company (Israel’s the largest fuels company).
Ms. Lubezky holds an LL.B. (cum laude) from Hebrew University in Jerusalem and an LL.M. in Commercial Law and Antitrust from Hebrew University in Jerusalem in collaboration with Leiden University, the Netherlands.
Between 2005 and 2017, Ms. Lubezky led large litigation cases as a partner in Naschitz Brandes Amir, where she was the head of the firm’s banking litigation practice. In this capacity Ms. Lubezky represented all of Israel’s leading commercial banks in complex class actions, in addition to various public companies and officers in class and derivative action claims.
Ms. Lubezky together with her team joined APM & Co. in January 2018, along with her class action practice which she currently leads at our firm.
