Adv Ori Avigad is a senior partner and head of Urban Renewal department at Amit, Pollak, Matalon & Co.
He specializes in leading and managing urban renewal transactions (vacate & build projects, National Outline Plan (NOP) transactions and more), handling these types of transactions comprehensively from the early commercial negotiations through to the completion of the construction and registration of rights. Complimentary to his great expertise in the field of urban renewal, Ori maintains a close web of relationships with a long line of professionals such as, appraisers, supervisors, planning and taxation experts, as well as urban renewal financing bodies.
An additional central pillar of his practice is real estate project finance. Amongst his clients are: banks, insurance companies, capital funds as well as property project initiators, individuals, contractors and some of the largest construction and building companies in the country.
His vast experience includes the handling of the entire range of financing aspects of complex real estate projects, including, urban renewal projects, combination transactions, real property purchase groups, projects for offices, residential, commerce and logistics, as well as projects in the field of energy and infrastructure, e.g., solar energy, wind turbines and bio-gas.
Leveraging his previous experience from his service as Head of Real Estate and Projects in the Legal Department of Bank Hapoalim Ltd., together with his in-depth understanding of the practice of real estate, financing and urban renewal, enables Ori to provide a comprehensive envelope of legal and business services to his clients.

Ori served in the IDF’s paratroopers brigade and was recently honorably discharged from military reserve duty at the rank of major.
