The European Commission has acknowledged Israel as an Adequate Country in the field of privacy protection

The European Commission has acknowledged Israel as an Adequate Country after almost 5 years of assessments and continuous inspections.

This acknowledgement by the European Commission will impact the Israeli markets and economy, as this regulatory, legal and procedural major barrier in transferring personal data from the EU to Israel, is now being released. Israel is no longer subject to particular and additional safeguards it transferring personal data.

Such safe and easy data flow is important and beneficial for businesses on both sides – the EU conducting the transfer and the recipients in Israel. All the process is more efficient, faster and more comfortable.
