Adv Ben Frenkel is a partner at Amit, Pollak, Matalon & Co.’s Commercial Department (Israel).
Ben provides ongoing support and legal counsel to Israeli and international companies regarding all aspects of their business activities. Ben’s main areas of expertise include commercial transactions, investment agreements, financing agreements, mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, distribution agreements and technology licensing agreements. Ben also accompanies startup companies in the fields of cybersecurity, business intelligence, fintech and e-commerce, from their establishment through their growth stages and up to an exit. Drawing from his experience as general counsel of an infrastructure and microelectronics company, Ben also provides comprehensive legal counsel to clients and companies operating in the microchip and semiconductor industries.
Additionally, Ben has extensive expertise and experience advising entrepreneurs in the renewable energy fields; and he has experience with transactions related to the construction of photovoltaic facilities, natural gas infrastructure, power plants, cogeneration facilities and PRMs, as well as drafting EPC, M&O, and financing agreements.
The legal services that Ben provides are based on a broad view of the client’s needs and the risks involved, with an understanding that the unique characteristics of the market in which the client operates are crucial to the nature of the legal counsel the client requires.
Ben has also worked as a teaching assistant to Dr. Esther Lopatin in the “Globalization” course at the Lauder School of Government, Diplomacy and Strategy at Reichman University.
