The UN’s Conference on the Status of Women

We are so proud of Dr. Tal Tirosh, a partner at our Hi-Tech and Venture Capital department, for her participation in two sessions at the UN’s Conference on the Status of Women held last week in New York.

At the session on Essential Investments in Innovations for Women’s Well-being at the Digital Era, Dr. Tirosh provided an overview of the state of investments in FemTech and addressed the often overlooked problem of underinvestment in female-led companies in general and in the FemTech industry more specifically and shared her thoughts on what ought to be done to affect change in this area.

Her second, more personal presentation, was given at the session on Advancement of Women’s Career Trajectory. Dr. Tirosh’s contribution to that session included an enlightening overview of the relevant Israeli legislative framework and its evolution throughout the years, which was followed by a presentation the policies and programs developed and implemented at APM to recruit, retain and promote women lawyers.
